My name is Trish Tinsley I'm originally from Somerset, Massachusetts, currently a resident of Bonita Springs, Florida. My husband and I continue to summer in New England recently in Tiverton, R.I.
I am a former Massachusetts educator. A graduate of Salve Regina University, Newport, R.I.
A certified PMC and Art Clay instructor, jewelry maker, an encaustic painter, acrylic painter and instructor are some of the hats that I enjoy wearing.
I have been teaching art in the Bonita Springs area for several winter seasons and prior to that, in MA.
Teaching adults who want to learn is quite different from teaching 6th graders in a public school!
Several of my pieces of jewelry have appeared in magazines over the years: for example,
Jewelry crafts and Glass Art. Tokyo, Japan featured one of my silver and glass necklaces in their PMC jewelry show.
Articles have been written, featuring me and/or my work appearing in MA newspapers, in Naples Daily News, and also in the Newspress., Florida. My memberships include; Portsmouth Art League, R.I., Bonita Springs FL., Center for the Arts, , SWFL-wax, Naples, FL, .
My art reflects my love of nature and zest for living, especially in my original encaustic paintings.
